Ha Noi, 16th January 2019:
KUME DESIGN ASIA (KDA, Head-Office in Hanoi, General Director Osamu Nishimura) has been accomplished 10 years of operation on January 16th, 2019.

KDA was established in 2009 as an overseas subsidiary corporation of Kume Sekkei, which is one of the leading companies for architectural design in Japan, and has involved in various projects, 5-stars resorts and hotels, high-rise apartment, hospital, school and retail facilities in Vietnam.

By utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) which has been implemented at the beginning of establishment, KDA analyze and study building environment factors such as wind, heat, and lighting, then sharing the completed model with 3D to achieve the mutual agreement at early stage of design. And also, this BIM model is effective for construction and O&M stage.

Currently, KDA has enlarged the BIM exclusive team and arranged preparation to provide the Japanese design qualities and technical advantages to wide range of domestic and oversea architectural projects.

Achieving KDA’s 10 years of establishment, Mr. Nishimura, who is the General Director of KDA, express as follows.
“KDA, which has started with around 10 employee, now becomes more than 80 employee organization. We have been serving an effort into local employee for training and adopting the foreign exchange program between Vietnamese and Japanese of Kume Sekkei. Until now, nearly 20 Vietnamese architects, who have already learned Japanese design skills and techniques, returned to Vietnam and performing successfully on their home ground. KDA contributes to Asian people and developing of society through the architecture.”
